So he calls me up and says he was in Cali and some dude walks into a take out spot. My boy goes “yoooo, ain’t you dudes cousin from DC? When he says dudes cousins name the guy immediately knows my boy knows him and his history. Apparently dude was a pimp or dealer back in DC. They chop it up and dude goes “yo, I’m going to Vegas in a few weeks. You should come with me.
So my boy goes to Vegas and they take him shopping for some event. Turns out the event is the Players Ball. That shit still goes on. So he’s in a hotel room with all these pimps that are in the hip hop videos. Dude with the big ugly ass cups takes a liking to my boy and tells him about the books you need to become a pimp. Now my boy ain’t interested in being a pimp. But long story short, back in college I had a pimp book I found at my dads. . Iceberg Slim or some shit. My boy borrowed it and since it was old and frail he xeroxed and laminated the whole book. Never returned it either. Yeah.. he is that type of dude.
So when he tells them he read the book they know dude knows exactly what they are talking about when it comes to learning the game.
Anyway. They get a phone call from the lobby. They tell my boy to go down to get Mike. Now at this time he just thinks it’s another pimp named Mike
“Son!!! It was Mike fucking Tyson Son!!! Son!!!!! Said Mike looked mad as shit because everyone in the lobby was bothering him for photos and autographs.
They get on the elevator and it’s silence. Then Mike asked him what they were doing upstairs. But he has that high as voice so my boy is trying to keep it cool. Granted he is blazed so he is geeking on the inside but playing it cool on the outside. “You know Mike, we just up here politicking and having fellowship”
Mike goes.. “fellowship, I like that” and does the Mike Tyson laugh... my boy said he was scared as shit because Mike was mean mugging but once he started laughing and relaxed it was all love.

Now Black Twitter got amped at the critics for getting mad at a white girl booty shaking like that in the SNL video but the truth is, I didn't find any folks actually complaining about the performance. Such is twitter.

sadly, todays music, hiphop at least is driven off viral moments
it’d be interesting to see if he’s purposely looking for minor ways to keep his name ringing.
2pac and 50 cent both had cases involving guns facing serious time. he seems to stick with minor physical altercations. maybe he’s using their model and trying to perfect it.
the footage of the beatdown looked like police helicopter footage initially. i wonder if it was the promoters camp or Dababys crew that filmed it.
