"fucking bamas"

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/alabama-lieutenant-governor-abortion-ban-roe-v-wade_n_5cd4e09fe4b054da4e867606

every day that the dems are talking about Trump shit and not about this (and healthcare, and climate change, and equality) is a loss.
the far right is out of step with the populous, and Trump is empowering them. But we're just gonna waste the next two years talking about collusion (which they can't prove) and obstruction (which they can't nab him for til he's out of office anyway)

specifically on state legislatures and everyone else focuses on the presidency and nothing else.

Meanwhile the right can shove whatever the hell they want through states with a GOP trifecta.

Particularly when they're THIS extreme.

They just do shit and people who are conservative/Republicans eventually come to support it once it's become polarized. But the sheer number of people who want total abortion bans and eliminating Obamacare and things like that isn't very big.

You're going to see it with anti-vax stuff, once the GOP starts trying it in more states.

>>the far right is out of step with the populous

They just cheat and steal their way to electoral victories. The majority of people in the country want what the progressives are selling. Progressives just aren't sheisty enough to hold onto power long enough to actually put legislature in place that the people want.

The repugs/conservatives/far right have a rabid, loyal, reliable base they can always count on to make the most noise and make it *feel* like they represent the majority of the country. But the reality is the are the LOUD minority. Their reps are just willing to break the law to maintain power (gerrymandering, redistricting, voter suppression, etc. etc. etc.) and therefore pass their unpopular bullshit.

They love entitlements, just as long as black and brown aren't receiving them as well.

Not talking about voting rights for ex-felons, but voting rights for people in prison. Such a loser topic. 70% of Americans are against it. Yet it is a topic that Dems and only Dems are debating.

The second one is smaller but typical. The second shooter is apparently transgendered and ask the court to use his proper pronouns. Of course right publications had a field day with that. So it of course made some trans advocates speak up.

https://twitter.com/autistichoya/status/1126346826288857088

So they fell for the trap and find themselves advocating for the pronoun rights of a suspected mass shooter. However you feel about transgendered rights, it would have made so much sense to just sit this example out for so many reasons.
