You have no idea, when I encounter a sample I can't immediately place I become distracted to the point of wasting time I could be used to work searching for the sample...I messed up nearly a whole day trying to ID a George Duke song referenced on a Monica track because of this habit.
fucking shame De La Soul is still not fully on streaming platforms
- rivers: a better than decent song. sound very much like his pops without the overweight rasp. the beat is cool, the video has issues (not sure how I feel about all that ni&&a talk juxtaposed with whiteboyz jumping around in the background, but hey its 2019
- santana fox: that beat is def something reminiscent of her pops. either she could use some therapy or she's good at conveying the mood of someone who does. a simple song (and moreso hook) that kinda reminds me of bahamadia
- yougn dirty bastard: undercooked, too derivative (iin a bad way) and just kind of a mess. not for me
I wish all of them progression talent/career-wise and good fortune everywhere else

I know there is a ton of Big Punisher fans out there but to me he was nice but his first album was his best album, his features on DITC songs was always killer as well but that's it for me.
When it comes to Chris Rivers, that kat got a crazy flow, got lyrics, ill metaphors, and crazy breath control; I'm just surprised that many don't know about him yet, it's too many wack singing rappers who's getting attention that should never be.
