Overall, I'd put good money that the average woman has more sexual partners than men. There are way more grown-up male virgins than female. Internet loves to clown these dudes too, so you know what I'm talking about.

Just cause it's ostensibly easier to get sex as a woman than a man, your average woman is also pickier and more prone to go without rather than just lay with some loser. And women lie about their sex lives just like guys do, so they can seem cool and experienced around their peers. They just don't tend to clown each other about it. They will call each other sluts though.

It is what it is, and I don't lie to myself. I've found it works out much better this way. I assume bad shit anyway, so it's usually much tamer that what I imagine.

I read another article about social media and smartphone addiction and how the current generation of high school kids are staying home all weekend and spend their free time on their phones in their rooms. If I'm a parent of one of those kids, I'd almost prefer my kid to out partying and living life and learning lessons and experiencing human emotions.

We keep him in sports and activities. Given his druthers he'd probably rather be online playing games, or watching YouTube videos of people playing video games.
Problem is...his peers are not as socially active. It's a chore to get him together with friends. I have to drive him places...set stuff up. When I was his age, I just walked out the door.
There's a little girl he digs in his art class. I asked him what's up with that, and whether he's talked to her. He said she has a boyfriend. I told him tough break, then he said, "He lives on Illinois (we live in the ATL)." "Oh, so he moved away?" "No, they've never met in person...just online."
What fresh Hell is this? Is that where we are now?

For some reason I think rural and church folks are skewing the numbers.. and church folk be lying.

During my dating years, on two separate occasions, that question led to some major drama. First time, my numbers were higher than hers and she could never wrap her mind around it, eventually causing her to start clowning. Second time, her numbers were radically higher than mine, causing me to inflate my numbers (immature move, I know), and feel some kind of way. That led to me making some out of pocket remarks, and getting kicked to the curb.
By the time I met my wife, I was straight "Don't ask, don't tell." That has served me well to this day.

For example, I'll admit I'm in the yellow, and so is my old roommate. The difference is that he put his numbers up during college and a few years after, until he got married in his mid 20's. I put those same numbers up, but from college until I got married in my mid-30's.

It all comes down to how a person feels about their sexual activity. I can honestly say that I’m just now thoroughly enjoying sex. I found a partner that just does it for me. I have never had that before. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I mean it’s great but if we stop and I have to find another partner statistically I won’t be as satisfied as I am now. Lol. I also could be even more satisfied. Communication plays a huge role and so does chemistry.
