Buy a long or shortbox and fill it up. Go with a theme if you want (all random X-Men) or just plug whatever in and list a halfway decent price. There are a lot of people that will buy them like this with hopes of rummaging through them and finding a few cool items.
Ebay is your friend, look through there and list the ones that go for a really decent amount. Once you get rid of those all the ones that you feel are worthless you can at least get something for them buy asking local shops will they buy your bulk stash. You won't get much that way, but you'll get something and the other bonus is you'll get them off of your hands.

back when I was in middle school. They had the line on all the comic book stuff. Even though it would be nice to have a quality nerd magazine now, the overall tone of that magazine wouldn't fly at all today.

The one for info, cataloging, etc. is http://www.comicbookdb.com/index.php which is one of my favorites to get information about things I've missed when I stopped collecting years ago.
And then you got https://comicbookrealm.com which is great cause it kind of keeps up with the latest prices from ebay and a few other places but the info isn't as extensive as ComicBookDB though.
