*** FULL DISCLAIMER: I haven’t gotten into Prince yet. I recently got a butt load of his albums from a friend so I can dive in. I’ve only ever known his hits. ***
So I heard this song last night 6/7/18 on 107.5 WBLS while at work.
Unfortunately I was around a bunch of black people and they wouldnt quiet down enough for me to catch the lyrics...
All I could decipher was “why would you let me/lay me down”... the song was a bit slow and had a hypnotic melody. I don’t know if it’s a remix to “Dirty Mind” or anything because when I googled, that song popped up.
The other song that popped up was “Can’t Make You Love Me” and musically it sounds very similar to what I heard, but I could’ve sworn he was singing his falsetto in a quieter voice, it sounded like he was mumbling. In this track he’s nice and clear. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T4JOn_bRCXs
Idek. Maybe this is the song and I’m buggin
RIP Prince!
