This MF wanted us all to wear some bullshit I'll never wear again in my life. I spent a grip on that ugly ass suit.

THAT'S the part that pisses me off. People don't realize the sacrifices you make to be in THEIR wedding. They might've saved up for it, but you're stuck with some horrible shit you can never wear again. I can't stand "non traditional" wedding outfits. Rent a fucking tux like everybody else.

not opted for this Formal Attire shit...

A July afternoon outdoors in N.C. in a fckin suit of ANY kind is NOT a pleasant thing to experience. I'm kinda tight with their "wedding planner" for not talking sense into them from that aspect alone.

Seems like a long time. Some folks get married, have kids, then get divorced all in less than two years.

stock of your family situation and move accordingly. If you not in a family of ballers, it's kinda rude to do a baller wedding and send out unvites...

>you flying?
Likely driving...but might have to fly MIL down to DMV to watch the kids while we dip down to NC. So that's a $300 plan ticket for her potentially.....

>hotel?
Possibly...my parent's crib has some "issues" right now.

>damn.. family can't watch the kids fo free?
That's the problem! ALL the family that COULD watch the kids is gonna be AT the wedding! lol..
Cousin really didn't think this shit through all the way smh....

To top it off...the whole "Formal" attire shit means at minimum I gotta rent a formal suit of some sort....wife gotta BUY a dress...so off jump that's another $300 at least...

Gas up & back...
Wedding gift...

Just one of them trips that's basically eating away at our "Vacation" funds...

One of the many drawbacks of living somewhere away from family... ALL your vacation time is spent on mandatory holiday trips home and weddings and babys and shit....

We haven’t had any expensive weddings yet, cuz niggas wanna shack up or be married in secret, but they will swing for the fences for an extravagant family reunion that always gets scaled back to a cookout.
