"Trump to withdraw from the Iran Deal"

This is the most dangerous thing Trump has done since becoming President. The Iran Deal was a masterfully negotiated piece of diplomacy and this - in effect - will lead us into military conflict with Iran - which is what Bolton, the neocon lobby, and Netanyahu have wanted for 20 years.

How does he think we're going to re-negotiate this? What's North Korea incentive to now negotiate with us? What's any country's incentive to negotiate anything with us?

Shithead doesn't like Obama, so we all have to suffer.

If you're the UK/Germany/Japan/anyone, why would you enter into any agreement with the US going forward? There's zero reason to believe this country has any credibility or will honor any future agreements.

Obama kind of had to use the "pen and the phone" to try to get things done because Congress was uncooperative.

But the downside is that the policies made by the executive branch are not durable. As quickly as they are put in place, they can be taken away.

If I were negotiating with the US (North Korea for example), there's no way I'd settle for anything less than a Congress approved agreement

Just skip this and get to the part where we have to reinvent our country as a constitutional monarchy or a protectorate of China or whatever the next phase is.

First we jumped ship from the Paris Treaty - and now this? Yea - we can't be trusted. Our European allies are now rallying to stay the course and keep the Iran Deal intact - and good for them. Germany, France & the UK have to take the lead now. We are incompetent and wholly corrupted by special interests.

It's well past time for this country to not be looked at as anything resembling a leader on the world stage. China's probably better equipped to handle this shit anyway, they can actually bring some credibility to negotiations with North Korea, aren't as connected to Israel and didn't already meddle in every single Latin American country. Sure they give zero fucks about human rights, but what would that change?

But let's not act like she would have ripped up the signature foreign policy accomplishment of the administration she worked in. This was something the GOP tried to sabatoge all throughout the negotiations and ran on getting rid of (President Rubio/Cruz/Jeb all agreed with Trump on this during the campaign.) This is not the issue to bring out a "no real difference between the parties on" stuff out.

>But let's not act like she would have ripped up the signature
>foreign policy accomplishment of the administration she worked
>in.

Correction: She didn't work in the administration that achieved this historic diplomatic feat. Kerry did. She didn't want to warm relations with Iran. Remember: It was Clinton who lobbied hard and ultimately influenced the decision to intervene in Libya and murder Gadaffi - resulting in utter chaos via failed regime-change (a monumental foreign policy blunder that was cited by Obama as his biggest regret/failure as President). She wanted the same thing in Syria - she voted and advocated for the same thing in Iraq at the time. Her record is clear on this: she's been tragically wrong and Neo-Con-like in her foreign policy prescriptions.

Would she have been a better President than Trump? Of course - but that's not exactly the kind of standard we aim to set here.

In response to Reply # 20

Even if it wasn't during the negotiations for this. Wasn't trying to imply she was SoS at the time, but she essentially campaigned for a third Obama term. And what does her position on Libya have to do with the Iran deal (that again, she campaigned on keeping?) Clinton and Sanders both pretty much campaigned on Obama's foreign policy in 2016, so I'm not sure why we're certain this still would have happened regardless.

This isn't something motivated by recent events (like Libya or even Afghanistan,) it's something Trump's been yelling about for years, specifically because he doesn't like the guy who got credit for it. Even if Clinton had put forward a more hawkish SoS, I really don't see "completely dissolves a major international agreement with nothing else in place for spite" as something that would have happened.

There were very real differences on foreign policy between them. Do you not remember Clinton praising Kissinger (a neocon who enshrined regime-change, military solutions as the primary goal of foreign policy) and Sanders calling her out - which resulted in a robust discussion where Clinton defended our intervention in Latin America and the Mid-East while Sanders (correctly) diagnosed the deficiencies of our Foreign Policy Establishment? Very real differences between them.

She's a far more savvy and intelligent person than Trump. But I don't just conveniently forget her record on foreign policy (which has been abysmal). She issued stern warnings to Iran throughout her campaign and may have found other ways to recede Obama's warming relations with Iran. Also - while Obama distanced himself from Israel and Saudi Arabia (bravely so) - Clinton was poised to repair those unsavory alliances much like we're seeing now.

But no - I don't believe she would've walked out of the Iran Deal.

Also - I'm not angry about the primary - we've moved on and should be focused on the mid-terms. I actually am the Chapter President of my state for Brand New Congress and working to get a scientist elected to my congressional district. What is Clinton doing?

We have to learn from the errors of the past. The DNC now admits that they were unfair in the 2016 primary - let's learn from it and make sure it never happens again.

Have you seen how people react when she says makes public statements? Is she supposed to fight for the resistance, or is she supposed to "move on"?

I don't know what you think anyone has "admitted", but nothing was unfair. The states ran a fair primary, and your guy lost, because he didn't have enough support even in the Democratic party.

Note that you're still hurling around sophomoric snark, and once again refusing to engage in productive dialogue in favor of doing what you do best: trolling

But I will answer one of your questions: The candidate was appointed by our state's Senator and serves on the Task Force that is investigating the rhabdomyosarcoma and pleuropulmonary blastoma double pediatric cancer cluster that she identified and reported in 2014 in our local water supply.

She introduced three bills that were signed into law in 2017 - including a House Bill which established a commission on the cancer cluster investigation to study long-term goals and requirements for our drinking water.

Oh, and she also was/is a *gasp!* -- Bernie Sanders supporter and an active member on his steering committee! OMGz a Bernie bro (i mean Bernie sis!). The horror!

(Still waiting for your scientific contributions to this forum, by the way. It'd be nice for you to share something beyond your adept ability to snark & troll w/ the best of them.)

This has been a simmering plot for decades (since the late 90's) - it's now come to a boil and reaching a crescendo of danger that is terrifying. I have faith that our Western allies will steer the ship in our absence - but it's going to test the the resolve of long-standing alliances.

42. "Obama issues (rare) statement; destroys Trump on JCPOA"
In response to Reply # 0

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/08/a-serious-mistake-read-obamas-statement-on-trumps-decision-to-pull-out-of-iran-deal.html

Statement from President Barack Obama on the JCPOA
There are few issues more important to the security of the United States than the potential spread of nuclear weapons, or the potential for even more destructive war in the Middle East. That’s why the United States negotiated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in the first place.

The reality is clear. The JCPOA is working – that is a view shared by our European allies, independent experts, and the current U.S. Secretary of Defense. The JCPOA is in America’s interest – it has significantly rolled back Iran’s nuclear program. And the JCPOA is a model for what diplomacy can accomplish – its inspections and verification regime is precisely what the United States should be working to put in place with North Korea. Indeed, at a time when we are all rooting for diplomacy with North Korea to succeed, walking away from the JCPOA risks losing a deal that accomplishes – with Iran – the very outcome that we are pursuing with the North Koreans.

That is why today’s announcement is so misguided. Walking away from the JCPOA turns our back on America’s closest allies, and an agreement that our country’s leading diplomats, scientists, and intelligence professionals negotiated. In a democracy, there will always be changes in policies and priorities from one Administration to the next. But the consistent flouting of agreements that our country is a party to risks eroding America’s credibility, and puts us at odds with the world’s major powers.

Debates in our country should be informed by facts, especially debates that have proven to be divisive. So it’s important to review several facts about the JCPOA.

First, the JCPOA was not just an agreement between my Administration and the Iranian government. After years of building an international coalition that could impose crippling sanctions on Iran, we reached the JCPOA together with the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Union, Russia, China, and Iran. It is a multilateral arms control deal, unanimously endorsed by a United Nations Security Council Resolution.

Second, the JCPOA has worked in rolling back Iran’s nuclear program. For decades, Iran had steadily advanced its nuclear program, approaching the point where they could rapidly produce enough fissile material to build a bomb. The JCPOA put a lid on that breakout capacity. Since the JCPOA was implemented, Iran has destroyed the core of a reactor that could have produced weapons-grade plutonium; removed two-thirds of its centrifuges (over 13,000) and placed them under international monitoring; and eliminated 97 percent of its stockpile of enriched uranium – the raw materials necessary for a bomb. So by any measure, the JCPOA has imposed strict limitations on Iran’s nuclear program and achieved real results.

Third, the JCPOA does not rely on trust – it is rooted in the most far-reaching inspections and verification regime ever negotiated in an arms control deal. Iran’s nuclear facilities are strictly monitored. International monitors also have access to Iran’s entire nuclear supply chain, so that we can catch them if they cheat. Without the JCPOA, this monitoring and inspections regime would go away.

Fourth, Iran is complying with the JCPOA. That was not simply the view of my Administration. The United States intelligence community has continued to find that Iran is meeting its responsibilities under the deal, and has reported as much to Congress. So have our closest allies, and the international agency responsible for verifying Iranian compliance – the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Fifth, the JCPOA does not expire. The prohibition on Iran ever obtaining a nuclear weapon is permanent. Some of the most important and intrusive inspections codified by the JCPOA are permanent. Even as some of the provisions in the JCPOA do become less strict with time, this won’t happen until ten, fifteen, twenty, or twenty-five years into the deal, so there is little reason to put those restrictions at risk today.

Finally, the JCPOA was never intended to solve all of our problems with Iran. We were clear-eyed that Iran engages in destabilizing behavior – including support for terrorism, and threats toward Israel and its neighbors. But that’s precisely why it was so important that we prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Every aspect of Iranian behavior that is troubling is far more dangerous if their nuclear program is unconstrained. Our ability to confront Iran’s destabilizing behavior – and to sustain a unity of purpose with our allies – is strengthened with the JCPOA, and weakened without it.

Because of these facts, I believe that the decision to put the JCPOA at risk without any Iranian violation of the deal is a serious mistake. Without the JCPOA, the United States could eventually be left with a losing choice between a nuclear-armed Iran or another war in the Middle East. We all know the dangers of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon. It could embolden an already dangerous regime; threaten our friends with destruction; pose unacceptable dangers to America’s own security; and trigger an arms race in the world’s most dangerous region. If the constraints on Iran’s nuclear program under the JCPOA are lost, we could be hastening the day when we are faced with the choice between living with that threat, or going to war to prevent it.

In a dangerous world, America must be able to rely in part on strong, principled diplomacy to secure our country. We have been safer in the years since we achieved the JCPOA, thanks in part to the work of our diplomats, many members of Congress, and our allies. Going forward, I hope that Americans continue to speak out in support of the kind of strong, principled, fact-based, and unifying leadership that can best secure our country and uphold our responsibilities around the globe.

“Of course there’s uncertainty over the next steps, but most probably Trump will get his way,” Norbert Roettgen, chairman of the German Bundestag’s foreign affairs committee, told Der Spiegel magazine. “We have nothing to offer Iran in return.”

To save the deal, the Europeans will need to ensure that Iran still gets enough economic benefit to stick with it. That, however, would mean securing protection from U.S. sanctions for European companies wanting to invest in the Islamic Republic, and it isn’t yet clear how that can be done.

“The Europeans clearly are desperate to keep the deal alive,” said Steven Hurst, author of an upcoming book on U.S. efforts to contain Iran’s nuclear program, and a reader in politics at the U.K.’s Manchester University. “But they really are stuck in the middle here.”

Companies are worried they could lose U.S. business by trading with Iran, according to the German-Iranian Chamber of Commerce, or DIHK.

With few options immediately available, European officials may have to rely on seeking case-by-case exemptions from Washington as the most realistic path to save the biggest investments in Iran -- if not the nuclear deal itself.

“The extra-territoriality of U.S. sanctions makes the U.S. the economic policeman of the planet, and that is not acceptable,” French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said on France Culture radio on Wednesday. He said he would talk to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin this week to ask how European companies can be shielded.

The E3 are standing firm to adhere to the deal - realizing that Iran is in compliance (according to IAEA findings as well). Rouhaini rebuked Trump's claims and stated that he will consult with the other partners (UK, France, Germany, Russia, China) before making a decision as to their course of action.

Will be interesting to see how they decide to proceed.

with world premier of next gen Iranian hypersonic missiles.

We went from the greatest diplomatic achievement of our time (JCPOA) to all-out war in the Mid-East under Trump 2.0, 'greatest dealmaker maybe ever'

Real dark world war vibes circulating today as Israel-Iran escalate destructive exchanges taking out oil refineries, defense/operational sites, nuclear sites, and civilian buildings.

All while Trump's fascist-style military parade is met with growing protests, an America that increasingly hates each other, and even violent political assassinations.

Growing authoritarianism at home. World war brewing aboard. Lots of worst case scenarios unfolding. War b/w Israel & Iran was always a combustible, high risk threshold point that could tip scales to all-out world war.

Netanyahu's near half-decade dream to foment war with Iran is finally coming to fruition.

I honestly felt like regardless of the candidate we were going to go to war somewhere. I think with Kamala it wouldve been more straight forward and focused on the “enemy” outside the US vs Trumps detour by pushing for enemies within.

In response to Reply # 64

https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/ms-rachel-echoes-support-palestinian-children-rcna206368

Popular kids’ content creator Rachel Griffin Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel, addressed the ongoing backlash over her advocacy for Palestinian children, saying in a recent interview that “it should be controversial to not say anything.”

Known for her YouTube series “Songs for Littles,” Accurso’s channel — which has 14.7 million subscribers — focuses on teaching young kids nursery rhymes, first words and basic educational concepts like colors and shapes. But elsewhere on her social media platforms, the educator has been outspoken about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza that has taken shape since Israel began its military response to Hamas’ deadly attack on Oct. 7, 2023.

“It’s sad that people try to make it controversial when you speak out for children that are facing immeasurable suffering,” Accurso said in an interview with journalist Mehdi Hasan, founder of the independent publication Zeteo.

The interview comes on the heels of intensified scrutiny of Accurso, who has been accused of antisemitism by some online critics who take issue with her posts about Palestinian children.

Last month, the pro-Israel group StopAntisemitism requested that Attorney General Pam Bondi investigate whether Accurso is “being funded by a foreign party to push anti-Israel propaganda to skew public opinion.” They accuse her of being “an amplifier of Hamas propaganda,” claiming some statistics and images she has shared about children in Gaza are false.

Accurso did not address the probe request in her interview with Hasan. But she rejected claims that she is antisemitic because she advocates for the lives of children in Gaza. As an educator, she said, her empathy extends to all children around the world.

Accurso, a mother to two young children, said her background in early childhood education made her aware that many of the youngest children in Gaza are being malnourished and traumatized in ways that harm their brain development during the crucial first three years of life. But mainly, she said, her concern is simply fueled by empathy.

Since she began working with the humanitarian nonprofit Save the Children, Accurso said she learned more about situations faced by children around the world, from the U.S. to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Gaza.

She said she was “horrified” by Oct. 7, as well as the “distressing, horrific images” of suffering in Gaza. She has since used her platforms to raise awareness and call out human rights violations against children.

Last year, Accurso posted a tearful Instagram reel in which she shared that she was being bullied online after she held a fundraiser for Save the Children’s emergency fund for kids in conflict zones like Gaza, Sudan, the Congo and Ukraine. She wrote in her caption that she cares for “Palestinian children, Israeli children, children in the US — Muslim, Jewish, Christian children — all children, in every country. Not one is excluded.”

“The idea that caring for a group of children in an emergency situation means you don’t care about other children is false,” Accurso reiterated in Monday’s interview. “And I just don’t understand it.”

Accurso has continued her advocacy this year, highlighting the stories of Palestinian children like Hind Rajab. In recent months, she spotlighted a family whose home was destroyed and a 3-year-old who lost both her legs in an airstrike, among others.

“Our compassion doesn’t have boundaries or borders,” she told Zeteo. “We just love kids.”

That red wedding Mossad secret attack inside Iran (assassinating top Iranian military brass) was brutal - and vile af - particularly the killing of the lead Iranian negotiator who was pushing hard for a deal to halt Iran's nuclear program.

Iran's next gen hypersonic missiles are impressive, but Israel has taken out many of their missile launchers (with American assistance).

Iran is definitely catching the worst of this exchange thus far, and it has to be stopped if we want to thwart all-out world war, which is already in its beginning stages.

She was actually instrumental months ago in thwarting US involvement in an Israeli led strike on Iran (reported by NYT). Then of course later she testified before Congress that Iran was in fact not developing a viable nuclear weapon and its program was consistent with civilian programs for energy/civilian use.

Now she's been silenced and sidelined because of it. She needs to defect - but that's what she gets for hitching her wagon to Trump and the New Neocons.

Trump implied she was wrong when a reporter asked him about her testimony. She said Trump is on the same page with her, on Iran.

"Gabbard insisted to reporters Tuesday that she and the president are “on the same page” on Iran, and a person close to Gabbard denied any tensions between her and the president. As recently as Tuesday, the two were meeting with other top officials in the Situation Room at the White House, and the administration even changed the time of the briefing to accommodate her schedule to ensure she could attend, the person said."

"The Gabbard ally added that she is fully on board with what Trump is trying to do with Iran, and said she has never let her personal views color the advice she provides to the president — nor has she tried to sway Trump to her own point of view."

>Now she's been silenced and sidelined because of it. She
>needs to defect - but that's what she gets for hitching her
>wagon to Trump and the New Neocons.

Why is she waiting to defect ? Trump already floated the idea of folding her office into the CIA.

"But in recent months, Trump has increasingly mused about nixing Gabbard’s office completely, an idea he floated when he gave her the job."

and now she's reversing course and contradicting her own testimony, making a fool of herself in subservience to Trump. Sad!

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c056zqn6vvyo

Tulsi Gabbard says Iran could produce nuclear weapons "within weeks", months after she testified before Congress that the country was not building them.

The US Director of National Intelligence said her March testimony - in which she said Iran had a stock of materials but was not building these weapons - had been taken out of context by "dishonest media".

Her change of position came after Donald Trump said she was "wrong" and that intelligence showed Iran had a "tremendous amount of material" and could have a nuclear weapon "within months".

Live updates
Was Iran months away from producing a nuclear bomb?

In her post on social media, Gabbard said US intelligence showed Iran is "at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months".

"President Trump has been clear that can't happen, and I agree," she added.

Gabbard shared a video of her full testimony before Congress in March, where she said US intelligence agencies had concluded Iran was not building nuclear weapons.

Experts also determined Iran had not resumed its suspended 2003 nuclear weapons programme, she added in the clip, even as the nation's stockpile of enriched uranium - a component of such weapons - was at an all-time high.

In her testimony, she said Iran's stock was "unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons".

First of all, the Iraq/Afghanistan invasions weren't *that* long ago for people of a certain age.

But secondly, even if people somehow forgot, there's (a) about a dozen 20 year anniversary podcasts or documentaries that have come out recently, to remind us about all the lies the Bush admin told the country and the world so they could force us into those wars, and (b) the troops were just pulled from Afghanistan like 3 years ago or whatever it was.

I almost said "I refuse to believe people are this stupid" but I thought better of it. The past decade has certainly proven otherwise.

Trump threatens assassination of Iran's leaders like they are a terrorist organization and not a country.

But somehow Dems who haven't spoken up either way are the ones to blame?

WHATEVER happens it has to be because the party not in control of the Whitehouse or the other two branches or government didn't say the exact right thing at the exact right time.

Reminder: Trump asked workers installing unnecessary flag poles at the white house (they have a few already) if any were illegal.

Yes, it is okay/perfectly reasonable/ and GOOD POLITICS!!!!! to ask democrats to speak out against this shit.

Just because Trump and the GOP are evil POS doesn't mean people also can't expect more of democrats.

(That is putting aside how your boy shit for brains Biden let us get this far by letting Bibi do whatever the fuck he wanted, and how Kamala bricked a fucking lay up by saying she wouldn't be any different than shit for brains)

But putting that stuff aside...and even lets forget Kamala's late-game Liz-fucking-Cheney rally and praise of Dick Cheney.

Lets gloss over all of those colossal shit-for-brains fucks ups this time.

Right now...in this moment...it absolutely is important for democrats to get their shit together and come out against this shit. IF nothing else matters to you other than Democrats winning...even if that's all you care about...then they absolutely should be raising hell over this.

Because no one wants this- not even MAGA.

but not for him bringing us to the brink of world war?

Dems should be PUMMELING Trump on this both for his authoritarianism and for his complete disregard for the Constitution in bringing us into yet another forever war without Congressional approval. He's a fraud and this is the easiest thing to call him out on - and the most consequential in terms of the ramifications this will have.

Ro Khanna & AOC/Ilhan are stepping up. Tim Kaine & Bernie are stepping up - but barely anyone else in the Dem sphere is saying anything. There are actually more Republicans speaking out against Trump right now than Dems in most circles - which is inexcusable.

If you are silent about Trump war-mongering right now - when it matters most - then you are essentially yielding and agreeing with what he's doing - which of course is exactly where a lot of Dems are on Israel.

And let's not forget: Hillary Clinton expressly said she would attack Iran when running for President. Kamala cited Iran as America's biggest threat/enemy on the campaign trail (despite there being a 0% chance that Iran poses a threat to the American homeland) - and even stated that there's not a single thing she would do different from Biden as President (specifically on foreign policy) - which includes funding, condoning, and supporting an entire genocide in Gaza for years.

And you think Dems should get a pass for that? Why exactly?

Live Updates: U.S. Enters War With Iran, Bombing Key Nuclear Sites

President Trump announced the United States had struck Fordo, Iran’s heavily fortified nuclear facilities, as well as two other sites.

Here’s the latest.
The United States dropped bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran on Saturday, President Trump announced, bringing the U.S. military directly into Israel’s war with Iran after days of uncertainty about whether he would intervene in the conflict.

“All planes are now outside of Iran air space,” he said in a social media post on Saturday night, adding that a “full payload” of bombs had been dropped on Fordo. “All planes are safely on their way home.”

The three sites that Mr. Trump said were hit on Saturday night included Iran’s two major uranium enrichment centers the mountain facility at Fordo and a larger enrichment plant at Natanz, which Israel struck several days ago with smaller weapons. The third site, near the ancient city of Isfahan, is where Iran is believed to keep its near-bomb-grade enriched uranium, which inspectors saw just two weeks ago.

Iran maintains its nuclear program is for civilian purposes, but Israel regards Iran’s potential for developing a nuclear weapon as a threat to its survival.

Israel’s foreign minister, Gideon Saar, said on Saturday that Israel’s bombing campaign had pushed Iran two or three years back from the capability to make a nuclear weapon. Still, Israel has yet to fully destroy some of the most significant nuclear enrichment sites, chief among them Fordo.

Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, said Iran would not reduce nuclear activities to zero “under any circumstances,” rejecting a U.S. demand, according to Mehr news agency, which is affiliated with the Iranian government. Iran, he said, was “ready to talk and cooperate” but he warned it would continue its military retaliation against Israel.

Here is what else to know:

Saturday strikes: Israel launched a wave of airstrikes against missile sites, a nuclear facility and munitions storage sites in Iran, while Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles and launched drones into Israel. The southern region that Israel targeted in Iran would likely be on any potential flight path used by U.S. warplanes on the way to strike Fordo.

Commanders killed: Israel’s military said it killed Mohammed Said Izadi, Behnam Shahriyari and Aminpour Joudaki, commanders from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Mr. Izadi and Mr. Shahriyari were both senior officials in the Quds Force, which oversees and supports proxy militias around the Middle East, according to Israel’s defense ministry. The deaths were not immediately confirmed by Iran.

Evacuations: The U.S. Department of State has begun evacuating Americans from Israel, said the American ambassador, Mike Huckabee. In a post on social media, he encouraged Americans in Israel and the West Bank to fill out a form requesting evacuation, which could be by cruise ship, commercial flight, charter flight or a flight operated by the U.S. government.

What’s next? If Mr. Trump decides to send American bombers to help Israel destroy a uranium enrichment facility in Iran, it will most likely initiate a more dangerous phase in the war. Here are some ways that could play out, and a look at how the U.S. military’s powerful bunker-busting bombs work.

First a genocidal flush out of Palestinians, now bombs over Iran ….Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey???

If nothing more this is tell tale of why not to persecute your own people and to stand strong from jump. Because Arabic countries have not, they played into the devils hand. But I think had they stood firm and united with Palestinians from jump, instead of pretending it wasnt their problem for the sake of doing business with the devil, they wouldn’t have to scramble now to hide from bombs while making empty threats.

Iran Gave Advance Notice Of Attack: NYT
Iran telegraphed their attack on a U.S. military base in Qatar ahead of time, three Iranian officials told the New York Times, portraying the strike as a means to both project strength and also provide an off-ramp for all involved.

The reporting aligns with a statement issued by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which noted the base had been evacuated ahead of the strike. As a result, no injuries have been reported.

Qatar closed its statement with a call for “the immediate cessation of all military actions and for a serious return to the negotiating table and dialogue.”

They rightfully should be mad the bombing was a dud since it appears to have been a waste of time and money, assuming all three bombings didn't result in Iran getting delayed with their nuclear programming.

As far as I can tell he literally never talks about being “shot at”. Fishy.

I’ve been saying this for years, but sometimes it truly blows my mind that this scumbag went from tweeting about Obama’s birth certificate 15 years ago to…..here.

I would give anything to go back in time to Obama being President and the hope for the future I had back then.

Sending tweets/bleats ending like this brain dead fucking shit:

“Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now! Donald J. Trump, president of the United States,” he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump then insisted that “ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran.”

“All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran,” Trump wrote. “Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Dude is a fucking moron.

to cover how I feel about living in the country where this dicksnot is President.

And that is with full knowledge of so much of the fuck shit this country has pulled since its inception.

This dickhead is the absolute worst, and does not have one positive trait going for himself.

I drink maybe three times a year but I plan to get fucking wasted when he dies. Might keep some alcohol around just in case.
