I think the only artists people seem to be focusing on is Kendrick, Schoolboy, & SZA the others have releases albums but no hype compared to the other three.
Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, & Lance Skiiwalker, all have put out albums in the past couple of years.

Who knows if this forthcoming LP will have a huge hit. First she put out the (lackluster IMO) single with Stormzy which got so little traction it's not on the album now. Now she's doing a video for Blue Lights, which is 2 years old and already had a video back then?
Agree she seems destined for superstardom, and love her music, but not sure this album will be the one to do it for her.
I was a little disappointed with the tracklisting of the album because it's got Teenage Fantasy, Blue Lights, and Where Did I Go? on there. All song that I like, but the newest one of the bunch has already been out for a year. The pivot back to Blue Lights is extremely weird. But I'm glad the Stormzy song didn't make it, and I'm disappointed that On My Mind (her best song imo) didn't make it. She seems smart though. She spoke on On My Mind and said people have been asking for more songs in that vein, and said that's not what she wants to do right now. Maybe in the future, but she's got a different vision for the upcoming album. I respect that.

She's not as big as I think she might end up being. Her joint project with Galimatias (Urban Flora) was on rotation for about 6 months and still revisit it fairly often.
Her new album, "The Color of You", takes a turn from Urban Flora but is still immensely dope. I think she has a bright future ahead and she'll be bigger than a lot of her contemporaries eventually.

I thought I was late... but he played a free show in Seattle over the weekend.. and he just appeared in Luke Cage.. so he's in the neighborhood of the shark if he hasn't jumped it already..
