So Congress just passed a bill aimed at stopping "sex trafficking". Doing so will now get you up to 10 years in prison. The problem is the wording is so vague that basically anything that can be seen as "pay for play" is now sex trafficking.
Reddit immediately shuttered their r/hookers sub. Craiglist took down their personals section. Sites have begun closing, and once Trump signs this into law this week, the dominoes will continue to fall.
Sex worker advocates say this will force them back into the streets and this bill takes away the tools they used to screen clients.
How will this affect "sugar baby" sites like seeking arrangements? Under this law, even Instagram would be liable if its users sell pussy thru their platform.

You can only use a number + pictures and a social media link must be included. Once the bill gets signed into law, that whole dating section is coming down. This bill is specifically aimed at backpage

refer to this law and any case work from it to tie in hate-speak online.
If a site is facilitation hate speech and one of these guys on the site goes out and shoots up a church, then shouldn't that site be held accountable for facilitating the hate?
