I'm kinda in love with Tobe Nwigwe's music currently. Wish I'd seen this post in the spring. (edit: of 2018?!) So good.
I saw Paul Wall and was like "what's he been up to?" and then next thing I know I'm just diving into Tobe everything and loving his sound/style/vibe etc. He's coming through Duval in December, hopefully I can make it.

Saw him in Jacksonville the other night. Anytime he's coming through, I'll be there. Not many rappers playing a 600 person venue are going to bring four interpretive dancers, three backup singers, a drummer, keyboardist, dj and a light show. Left feeling like family, he's super charismatic. Even brought his baby daughter out. He won't be touring next year as there's another baby on the way but hopefully there will be more music. So good.
