George Zimmerman Threatens Jay-Z Over Trayvon Martin Doc, Snoop Dogg Responds

Zimmerman is threatening violence after claiming the team from a doc Jay-Z is producing harassed his family.

George Zimmerman, the man who killed unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin in 2012, has threatened Jay-Z over a documentary the rapper is producing on Martin. According to a report from The Blast, Zimmerman threatened to "beat" the rapper and feed him to an alligator over what he claims to be harassment by the doc's team towards his parents.

Zimmerman says in the report that docuseries executive producer Michael Gasparro made unannounced visits to his parents and uncle's houses to film them. He says that they were "harassed," but would not divulge whether his family members agreed to be on camera. In reference to Jay-Z and Gasparro, who he's holding responsible, he said, "anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator." He also made a disgusting reference to Trayvon's killing, for which he continues to show no remorse, saying, "I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012."

The docuseries in question is Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, which is based off of the book Suspicion Nation by attorney Lisa Bloom. It will center around Trayvon's life, his unjust killing, and Zimmerman's shocking acquittal.

On Instagram, Snoop Dogg denounced Zimmerman and defended Jay-Z, as well as remembering Trayvon and the system that failed him. "If one hair on jays hair is touched that’s when the revolution will b televised We one👊🏾 and to thank the system let the Bitch ass muthafucca get away with murder try it again, he said. "🙏🏾 Trayvon Martin Gone but not forgotten."

Jay-Z has not responded to Zimmerman's remarks.

If it seems over the top and juvenile, this is the same dude that said "and when I shot him he said, 'you got me'"
And ever since that day he's been alienated by people he knows, while propped up by right wing media, funded and celebrated by white supremacists online.
If it sounds like a made up tough guy act, it's very much in line with who he is

I'm willing to bet dude doesn't go out much, and when he does he's prob strapped or around the right people where it can't go down.

I bet he lives in a community full of people who think just like him too so he knows what he's surrounded by. Someone can catch him, it's just going to take a bit more skillful planning. The type of dude that would try to take him out may not be willing to commit to that much.

Then if you do it you gotta get some recognition for it or it'll be for nothing. Now you facing jail time.

My bet is that he's carrying and he knows the laws about carrying wherever he lives.

He probably also knows the ins and outs of when he can defend himself.

Not saying he's some tactical genius though... but if anybody would be justifiably paranoid enough to have a gun and figure out when he can use it, it would be him.

He's getting far too much credit
He murdered a teenager after getting his ass whooped by someone 100lbs lighter
That was six years ago. In the six years since all he's done is get more guns
Lose more jobs and beat up more women
He's less stable, more fragile, and his apex of his life as he sees it is that he murdered a teenager.
It's far too much credit to make him out to be this prepared tactician navigating a landscape that's out to get him at every turn
It's more accurate to point to all of his behaviors includihg then and since and highlight that he's a fragile coward and if there's any fear it's that he's unstable.

GZ got shot at within the last year for his mouth
The only people he's "successfully" beaten are women
The only person he's "successfully" murdered was a teenager who beat his ass
GZ is not about that life, he stumbled into infamy and has to stick his chest out at every slight
Because he's a fragile piece of shit and nothing more
This is a terrible human being who's so craven and insecure that in response to internet comments about him he posted pictures of the teenager that he murdered'a dead body
In response to internet comments about him
He posted pictures of an unarmed teenager that he stalked and murdered

He's not without conscience in the way of the ice man
And it's gross to paint him as that

sounds like maybe you wouldnt, which is cool too... everything about this guy including his constant social media presence and fucked up statements in regards to trayvon indicate to me that he welcomes anyone who wants to try and take him out, he addresses the issue daily. ANYone who i think MAY be strapped im gonna approach accordingly.

caught episode 1 last night

amazed at how, even after 5 years, everything is so raw

Wasn't too much that I didn't know in episode 1, but it's a 5 part series (I think), so they pretty much recapped as an intro

a couple of things that I did not know

I don't remember hearing about the Martin Anderson case;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Anderson_case

and for some reason, I always thought the screams for help in the 911 recordings were Zimmerman

both parents were adamant, that was my son's voice

still really blown away at how the entire process played out

they really had no intent at ever charging dude

the public outcry is the only reason, IMO, that this ever even got to trial

SMH@Florida Man

anybody else catch this?

It ain't just Florida bruh but I know you weren't necessarily saying that. Florida's fucked up but instead of "Florida smh" you could say "cops smh" "the system smh" "meriKKKa smh" etc. But again I know you know this.

Anyway this first episode was very well done. The raw feelings of intense anger and fury came flooding back. This country is disgusting man.

Edit: I was also reminded how much I loved and love the Martin family lawyer. You could always tell that he takes his cases fucking *personally*

Definitely wouldn't have become a national topic without their strength and courage

I could only imagine

IRT Florida, it was more about the SYG legislation

I know more states have gone on to adopt similar self defense laws, extending the castle doctrine, etc...

But the way it is presented made it feel like Florida was first

of course it's just an extension of every existing form of oppression and systemic racism that existed before it

Just par for the course for Florida Man being first

Jeb with the NRA lady...how is that legal?

Bold, in your face...yeah, we let the NRA write this legislation

I'm wondering...Is there anything that can be done on the federal level to negate these SYG laws?

Especially knowing the context in which they were written

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldsboro,_Florida

Well that explains alot

Affluent, black community, was incorporated into what is now Sanford

Rick Scott's claim to fame prior to being governor, was fraudulent medicare/medicaid billing practices and claims as CEO of Hospital Claims of America

SMH, fucking republicans mayne

also known for wearing a pair of cowboy boots emblazoned with the confederate flag

The special prosecutor definitely overcharged with 2nd degree murder

Manslaughter was a low bar for this case

I'm still really intrigued by the self defense defense, given the fact that Zimmerman pursued Trayvon

I just can't get around that, but I expect they'll go in depth on that analysis in the upcoming episodes

Damn this shit still hurts...ALOT.

In response to Reply # 38

If the aggressor is backing away, fear for your life can't be justified (most recent case in FL over the handicapped spot, and dude has a history of threatening people and flashing his gun at that).

If you pursued your attacker (who could realistically have feared for THEIR life, being followed at night and confronted after running away and trying to lose the tail) you can't say 'feared for my life'. ESPECIALLY if law enforcement told you not to pursue.

Why couldn't Trayvon have been defending himself? Thinking he was about to be robbed or assaulted. Or are we just supposed to accept that in these instances, anybody can die and SYG will keep you out of jail?

If the roles were reversed and Trayvon kills Zimmerman, the evidence (911 call, trailing against the advice of the 911 operator, Zimmerman was armed, Trayvon ran to avoid the tail), it would be easy to say, Trayvon was well within his rights.

I Is 'feared for my life

I really hope they spread out the actual trial over a couple of eps, because I have more questions now

IMO, none of that mattered after they portrayed Trayvon as a thug

I don't think the all white jury ever considered anything contrary

like I said, I can't get past the fact that he ran from a car following him

...and that is actually in Zimmerman's 911 call...'he's running'...

How can you claim SYG, when you escalate a situation/put yourself in harm's way to begin with?

Are there any ballot initiatives to repeal SYG in the midterms?

According the special prosecutor, AG and police chief...that is the reason they didn't charge him initially and then took forever to do it (other than blatant racism)

Did you watch the ep?

Part of the SYG statute opens LEOs to personal litigation if they wrongfully charge a defendant

LOL@Zimmerman's original defense attorney saying Trayvon was buying the ingredients (2) for lean...watermelon iced tea, skittles + robitussin =/= lean, LOL, SMH and tears

It was funny how swiftly they showed Fox news changing their tune after Obama said his piece. If that network isn't a political shill, I don't know what one is.

>I don't think the all white jury ever considered anything

No incentive to.

Right, if you fear for your life, you run away from the danger.

>Are there any ballot initiatives to repeal SYG in the

FL Dems are making a push but NRA $$ + Bigotry usually equals unlikely change.

>According the special prosecutor, AG and police chief...that

I wonder if the skin colors were swapped, would George Williamson have been able to go home and then come back and walk the cops through his account of things.

>Did you watch the ep?

Yup...both parts.

>Part of the SYG statute opens LEOs to personal litigation if
>they wrongfully charge a defendant

Another dumb thing about this law. Pretty much makes murder like requesting a lawyer during questioning.

>LOL@Zimmerman's original defense attorney saying Trayvon was

Just stupid all around.

the entire situation.

Literally every last element of that "conflict" was created by him. And it's documented.

I'm 100% in favor of the general notion that, if you create conflict and attack me, I can go all out in defense without having to try to run away, and without consideration for your well being.

I shouldn't be able to follow you for doing absolutely nothing wrong, instigate and initiate a confrontation, and then claim self defense for killing you because you wound up whooping my ass. Or, if you instigate and we get down and I'm winning and you're trying to escape? I can't pull you back in and start pummeling you again.

I'm also in favor of the general notion that, if you break into my home, you're generally subject to my mercy. I shouldn't have to discern whether you just want my TV or actually mean me and my family harm. I should be able to assume you're an immediate threat and respond accordingly, without fear of consequence. I wake up and you're in my home, uninvited, at 2 AM? For all intents and purposes, the rule of thumb should be "that's your ass".

But I shouldn't be able to leave trail of hundred dollar bills to my home, leave my door open, with a spotlight shining on an equally wide open safe full of cash, and then shoot you when you take the bait.

I think the general spirit of being able to freely defend yourself is the right thing. But there's too much gray area to leave it at that.
