So my college buddy is a pretty fucking big deal. All over tv, awards shows and posting pics with celebrities. I remember when we were pushing papers in the work study office.
We both got our degrees. But she always had her side hustle rolling and believed that she would do something great.
I have a few other college buddies that are very successful. I notice that they RELENTLESSLY pursued their dream and never gave in to the 9-5, benefits, mortgage, settle mentality.
Watching them made me wonder where I lost sight of my BIG dream. It is easy to become satisfied with the okey doke and push dreams to the back of our heads.
Tempted to pick up my dream again and give it a shot.

5. "From call center to telecom mogul" In response to Reply # 0
In college, a group of us worked in the call center for AT&T. It was mostly college students who all had other aspirations. One of my best friends stayed there after everyone moved on. He transitioned from call center to sales and began parlaying his way into various positions, eventually benefiting greatly from the break-up of the telecom industry by leaving AT&T to work as a consultant for various firms trying to do business with AT&T.
I have to admit there are quick moments where I think, "Damn, I should have stayed at AT&T..." But, I hated the call center with a white hot passion. My boy had vision and stuck it out, so I can't hate...well not much.
