3. "asked for what i wanted"

from that guy and from work. they were minor requests in both situations, but both asks were a big deal *for me* because i don't speak up for myself and i don't ask people for shit. especially men.
neither situation worked out the way i wanted. but i asked. i was scared and i asked.

also, i put my money in a more productive place. at least according to what the white man says.

had two goals by the end of the year
- being able to do a shoulder press off a hand stand(no wall assist)
- increase passive income

both were accomplished

7. "achieved most of my goals"
In response to Reply # 0

for the first time, I wrote out my goals. I actually put them shits in my phone, and tracked my progress towards them.

I had some fitness goals. I just started working out in October of last year. I lost the weight I wanted to lose, but this year I wanted to add more lean muscle. I did that. I also had goals like 'bench press X for three sets of 12, etc etc".

I wanted to run a 5k - no time goal set, just actually running the entire distance - but I didn't do that.

Also had a goal of taking my wife on one date per month. I did that. That was a major accomplishment for me/us. We were getting lost in the hustle and bustle of work, school, parenting, etc. I started planning dates ahead of time and even meeting her for lunch on some slow Fridays.

I'm getting my 2018 goals together now.
