My first job was in a shoe store at a mall and I routinely saw:
The packs of tween white girls roaming the mall, dressed identically
The FOB Asian parents that would buy shoes 3 sizes too big so their kids could grow into them
The single black mother with 6 kids (hers, her sister's kids and the kids' friends) that would come in just to sit down and take a break
The 19 yr old black couple going on a shopping spree for their infant (soft-soled jordans, nautica jacket, etc) that would then ask for lay-away at the counter (99% never came back)
The cheap, big-footed women that didn't want to admit they couldn't fit kids sizes ("Ma'am, regular Footlocker is around the corner. Yes, those are $30 cheaper over here but you're a size 9 in men's")
