i mean what is the tangible difference between the two?

both are photos
both can be printed, framed, hung
both can be uploaded, edited, shared

is a taco that uses the exact same ingredients as a tapas plate worth less meerly because of a tortilla? If the technique is similar and the end product is identical, then what is the real difference? The type of camera?
