"Willow quietly dropped a beautiful indie rock album on 10/31/17"
The album is called "The 1st" tracklist: 1 Boy 2 An Awkward Life of an Awkward Girl 3 And Contentment 4 Ho' Ihi Interlude 5 Israel 6 Oh No!!! 7 Warm Honey 8 Human Leech 9 Lonely Road 10 A Reason 11 Romance
I don't know if she did all the writing on this thing, but the lyrics and melodies are incredible. It's mostly acoustic and reminiscent of something like Heather Nova's Oyster album. Some of the backdrops even sound like they're from an Enya album. The last song sounds like an acoustic Mars Volta song complete Cedric-esque wailing. I've long thought much of her music sounded like it came from someone beyond her years. This one's no different. I love so many of these songs it's hard to name favorites (1,2,3,5,6,7,9,10,11 tho).

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

Songs like "A Reason" where she's coming to conclusions about the reasons for existence or "And Contentment" where she's singing about finding the mind state and approach to life that creates happiness.
She's basically figuring life out in song on those pieces. Other places she's singing about how what she sees affects her.
But I'm 100% sure you're judging from the sound of the instrumentals... that's kinda something you'd do lol.
