The downtown cool kids in ya various used to fuck with em so there was some overlap with street culture but not really; they basically took what the street dudes and skaters were rocking and put a well designed sheen on them...
...to now where thanks to the rise of (Kudi? Skateboard P and dem hopping into streetwear? the modern soundcloud rappers?) re-introduced it back to those same dudes...
...to wear its rocked by those same group of dudes that they used to copy before
