"What's the weirdest thing you've gotten on an email list about recently?"


          

(Not the obvious Viagra scams.)

In the late 90's I did get those "Wanted: Ticklish Guys" emails.

Today I got one for a construction company that makes equipment storage racks saying they can now hold up to 15,000 on a rack. And they're from Georgia - about 2,000 miles away.

No idea how I got on the list - can't imaging who'd be making a profit on it.

What weird list have you been put on lately?

...same first initial as well. I randomly get government-related emails from that city, for some reason.

Strangest was the defense contractor list I was on for some reason.

I've never been to Arkansas tho. They got my name mad wrong, too.

emails at work.

GoDaddy did something to their spam recently and now that we adjusted our settings I see all types of shit that used to get blocked.
