"XXXTENTACION has an 8 year old white boy being hanged in his video"
excuse me if yall have talked about this video and i missed the post. i actually like some of this kids music, and the 2 songs in the vid are dope. the hanging part is crazy, he talks about emmit till and philando castel, then brings a black and white kid on a stage and chooses the white kid to be hanged. it's crazy. also this vid has 13 million views with 585k likes and 100k dislikes.
Seriously though....ain't no way I'm taking a 19-year-old with anger issues and possible mental illness seriously on politics.
When I see this, I see someone going for shock in lieu of making commentary that'll resonate with people. The idea that people would've been okay with the black boy is silly because the fact is that neither are okay.

The way the hanging is presented in the video doesn't really add anything constructive to the conversation of than the Matthew Mcconaughey Time to Kill closing statement 'imagine this person was white'.
I get it but there's nothing else to video besides that IMHO. ---------------------------------------
"Although the video features some disturbing imagery, Stanley says it was meant to send a message about the way White people have been desensitized to violence against Black people. According to her, the White and Black children are meant to symbolize innocence."
