i will leave my wife and children behind if a snake fell out of the attic or something crazy.
but i went out of my way to get a turtle out of the middle of a busy two-lane street one time. It was moving, slowly. I pulled over, stopped traffic, and grabbed it with both hands and put it in the grass. Look like it was trying to cross the street or it had a death wish.
but i fuck with animals heavy, lol. I'll try to scare a racoon or possum out of my trashcan rather than kill it.
I read she left her fam to go back for the dogs. That's some serious love. I'm not the type to risk my life for a pet tho...

but ain't NOOOOO fucking way I'm leaving my 2 kids to go back and get a pet. IMO pets are really good at surviving.. unless they are chained to a rock in a flood or some shit.
crazy thing is those dogs she tried to go back and save survived.
Also read a story about a guy who was electrocuted going back to get his sisters pet.
I'm sorry, I'm not that dude. I'll go back for my kids, my wife, my siblings but the family pet?
