Yo! What the hell is this foolishness?! I didn't think it were possible to make an even worse version of mumble rap but this fool has ultimately proved me wrong. This dude's delivery and "lyrics" are a dumbed down version of mumble rapping and that's saying a lot. How come this dude is looking like those Sambo/jiggaboo racist caricatures of Black folks with his eyes all bugged out? Nigga must be lacing his weed with bath salts.

Somehow, with the way hip hop tastes are nowadays, I wouldn't even be shocked if niggas start calling that joint "lit" and actually are banging it every chance they get (I mean, yeah, the beat is hitting, but still).

Man, if this joint catches on despite this nigga sounding like the down syndrome version of these mumbling niggas, I may have to either start weeping or just grow even more numb about many of today's musical acts.

they're bad at rapping because they don't care about it. it's a means to an end. they buy good beats (21 savage was buying metro and sonny digital beats before he got famous), they rap poorly over them, and they turn from dope boy to rock star (shoutout gucci). it's definitely a case of function over form and has no respect for the history but also it doesn't matter because it's a grip of fucking dope boys and not professional rappers with lofty artistic ambitions

but it is the death of the genre. this kind of sub mumble rap completely cancels out artists like kendrick and cole. in fact it's actively erasing their discographies and the discographies of all the 90s rap we love so much. we only have a few more months until all the good rap is gone and hip hop is just lil pump and wintertime all the time

but this will pop because it's not about lyrics anymore...
