I can't really picture *not* wearing shirt, tie, slacks, leather shoes, vests, etc. to work. Higher-ups call me "sir" when I'm well dressed.

Not gonna front, some dudes here rock jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, etc. (yesterday, a dude had on baggy denim shorts), and I look down on them a bit. Like, you gotta rep the block no matter what, huh?

They say I couldn't find anything to wear so I had to pull out one of these fancy things in a rush… So I did that ha ha… And was told by the head honcho who is a female that I should start wearing that every day like that… So I have… And the results have been… Let's say…

its mostly comfort. I'll do a tie every now and then, not as much in the summer.

my job also doesn't require this so I'm def being extra, relative to the other folks here if I have on a shirt & tie. we got folks in jogging suits. and not the fly ones.

The office I work in now is pretty casual so when I have a tie they either ask me if I have an interview or am I trying to show them up lol

for the mgmt staff to wear shirts and ties. We (the managers) thought it was dumb because we still help people occasionally with their workouts and equipment and are somewhat active. That job was already like shooting fish in a barrel when it came to getting women, but once we started dressing like that, the fish started jumping out of the barrel. Weirdest thing I've ever experienced.

Nothing better than being fly as shit and getting looks that confirm it.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

i wear suits everyday.

i went on a few cruises w/the family in the last 5 years and for each one i didn't pack a suit at all b/c i was on VACATION and i didn't want to wear that shit. but then it turns out on each cruise there was a 'formal' night where ppl got dressed up (men in suits) for dinner and shit and i was there all under-dressed. it was kinda awkward when the fam wanted to take pix while all dolled-up. b/c i was in business casual wear, basically. b/c i was on VACATION. and a suit ain't shit to me. lol

i'm wearing one right now and i'm counting the minutes until i can take this thing off.

fuck you.

at my current position I started off dressing up

but now that I'm always on task I come in business casual

nice shoes, chinos and a nice shirt untucked (only certain shirts of a particular cut work for this look)

if i'm client facing then I put on a suit

otherwise, fuck that shit.
