In UVA they effectively didn't ask permission from what I know for the campus walk, but it doesn't make a difference. The fact that such horrible views even get an invite shows you the system is working; perhaps you need to re-avaluate your views if it cause half the campus to show up and scream at you on your way to the venue.
Like imagine Nation of Islam deciding to have a walk through Hickworld, West Virgina with 'Kill Whitey' signs...and have the nerve afterwards to say all the antagonism they get is because America's no longer about free speech, lol. Plenty of Universities are filled with these conservative/alt right racists types yet they try and paint universities as Liberal paradises because of a few liberal college classes at some small as school in Connecticut or Maryland they hear about on Fox News.
Damn near every public and state run college in every state has a shit load of these types of GOP dickheads. Even at private schools like Pitt when I took a summer class we had debates where students showed their true colors.

What am I supposed to do in the face of an organized wave of armed racists with deep government ties that can seemingly do whatever they want? These people have not and will not for the most part be charged with crimes.
This video is haunting for a few reasons:
The first night armed white men are allowed to parade around spreading fear and hate as KKK and Nazis. Cops didn't do shit and let this violence occur.
The man says around two minutes that cops need to be ready the next day because bad things will happen. Violence occurs the next day culminating in an innocent woman's death.
David Duke of the KKK is there receiving celebrity praise. Richard Spencer is there receiving celebrity praise.
These are young Republican leaders out there not crazy citizens. NO, these are future leaders of the Republican party.
President is too busy defending these heinous wastes of carbon increasing the racial divide. This is going to get worse because cops don't care to arrest these villains.
