while toasting my bagel in the break room and talking to this brother...he says to a white woman standing in there with us, "I wanna see if she's going to offer me half her bagel" . I replied, "I'm not". The white woman was like, "I'll buy you a bag of bagels" . I said, "you do that". When I ran into him later.. I went off on him. He said I overreacted. Okp you make the call.

a friend asks me to help him move. since it's a friend, of course i say yes. he hired a moving company to move the big stuff leaving us to move stuff that would fit in the back of 2 crossover suvs. couple of trips & it'd be knocked out.
2 guys from the moving company show up and come upstairs. they look around and say that they can't do the job for the quoted rate. they then tack on an extra $200. so my boy calls the company and talks to the owner who gave the original quote. they go back & forth. the movers get on the phone and talk to the owner. then they come back and say that they can do the job for an extra $100 over the original quote.
so we say nah, that's aiight. we'll do the shit ourselves. y'all can leave now. the 2 movers then start talking about what they were willing to move for the original rate and we repeat what we already said: we're done here. y'all gotta go.
we called around and lucked up on a uhaul. crazy luck cuz you really not gettin a uhaul without a reservation on a saturday.
so me & 2 other guys and 1.5 women moved a 3 bedroom apartment. that was located on the 3rd floor. we moved them into an apartment that was located on the THIRD FLOOR.
FML
they had big shit, bulky shit, awkward shit, heavy shit...
the move kicked my ass. i woke up the next day feeling pain in places i kind of forgot even existed.
then the day after that started at 4am and didn't end til midnight.
i'm too old for this shit...

This little electric WORX chainsaw I bought to cut tree limbs is a FUCKING BEAST!!!
My neighbor asked if I wanted to borrow his gas chainsaw but he had to pick up his kids first and it would take an hour. Man, by the time dude returned we had that shit bucked and stacked. Just me and the wife while the kids were napping. My neighbor was like DAMN, you ran through that shit in no time.
Youtube bruh... my body is sore as hell tho. I also grilled some ribs and then put them in a cooler after they cooked.. niggas. Fall of the bone good.
oh, and kinda salty dude at the interview didn't ask me about that tree since I told him I might be a little late due to it falling.

...This morning she called me to tell me she had a tire issue on her way to National AP. She did manage to get a one-off service station to look at it, while I was on the phone. This was at 10:30..her flight was at 1:30. They discovered a nail. They said she should be able to make it to the dealership with it. Got there..and said we didn't have coverage on tires. It's 11:00 now. Long and short of it..they put the spare on...and we'll have to come back Monday. She made it on time.

Work and people at work been getting on my nerves CON-STUNT-LEE as of late.
The wife's birthday is tomorrow.
My dad is having somce cancerous tumrs removed from his stomach tomorrow. I'm a bit shook about this one cause my old man is MY GUY.
The daughter gets dropped off at school on Thursday. I get to move her stuff and put it together when we arrive. Then, I get to go back on Friday to hang with her for one last time as a duo before I have to let go and trust that I've taught her well enough to make the best decisions possible.
On Saturday, the wife and I are flying to ATL to hang there for a few days. Gotta go support my dad and my mom who is a wreck right now. They been married for almost 49 years and I think she's worried about what could happen.
So, yeah... FRIDAY HURRY UP AND GET HERE! (Actually, COB Wednesday because I'm gon be off til next Wednesday.)
