today I have on a sequined skirt and to tone it tone I paired with a denim blouse. A coworker said it's inappropriate for work. I then asked someone sitting next to me...she said, "yeah, it's something you wear at night". I'm pissed! when I think "inappropriate"... I think, "offensive". I bit back....

they explained it was too much for work. I still have trouble understanding that. it's not short or tight...I have a modest style.
I can laugh now. I felt like I was being made fun of. While our office is business casual, I tend to wear my good shit to work; otherwise, it would sit in my closest forever. Not to mention, it's a reflection of your work ethic. Anything goes on the weekend tho lol
