I dated a girl with sickle cell disease and we're still close. That shit sucks, man. A lot of nights in the hospital and trying to enjoy the good times between the crises. The awful thing is, doctors and researchers are pretty close to curing it, but if funding dries up, then I doubt we're going to see movement on it with our current govt.

sad to read the news. prayers to his family and friends. his music was the soundtrack to my coming up. not many rapper deaths have bothered me as much....but Prodigy passing really hurts. I miss Big L (...because I watched him rise from day one) and now I will be missing Prodigy. I still rock 'The Infamous' and various other singles.
