Unless you got Neanderthal heritage the primary reason for allergies is poor diet.

My diet is fairly str8. And still this summer my body is going nuts over allergy issues. It's bc this winter was warm and so plants that normally would be dead or dormant came back early and are extra green and flowery and active. So this year especially I'm getting my sinuses kicked.

I didn't have this problem until I was an adult. When I was a kid my diet was shit. No problems with airborne, seasonal allergies. As a grown up when my diet has been strict and good I still suffered depending on several factors - like weather and geography, mostly.

fuck you.

Only Benadryl does that. But it knocks me out.

So now I'm getting through while almost constantly rubbing my face.

Zyrtec helps me a lot with that, although it may not work the same with others and fuck taking benadryl because it makes me want to just sleep at work.

I'm at my worse around April and May, now its just random days where all I do is sneeze my ass off. I just started taking them every single day as a preventive measure.

My allergies are so bad I have to take meds year-round: Zyrtec, Xyzal, Flonase, and eye drops.

Year. Round. If I even think about getting cute and stopping for a week, my body will 100% remind me who is boss and *then* I'll be down with bronchitis. Not worth it anymore. I just make sure I take the meds everyday.

my brother tried it and it worked for him. But then there are like 5 people I know that it did nothing for. Worth a shot at the very least.

my brother was the only one in my family with allergies. When he had them it was from March until June. Then again during fall. Everyday all day long. Blood shot swollen eyes and congested. He looked miserable. My wife gets them but its pretty mild. If they start acting up she can pop a pill and they will go away. I hope she didnt pass that weak shit on to my son. She already gave him her allergy to dogs and cats.

it's normally about 2 weeks of cold symptoms. if it's really bad (like this year and one year back in the 00s) i have itchy eyes and noses along w/the cold symptoms.

i can avoid most of it if i take allergy meds way ahead of time. some years the whole thing passes w/barely a sniffle or a sneeze.

this is a bad year. cold symptoms and itching and just a general malaise. i should've started meds weeks ago.

fuck you.

you would probably fall over and die where I live. So much open land with pollen and shit all over the place. About 300 feet past my house is nothing but open land. During spring one year I left my car in the drive way and it was yellow from all the pollen. We tried to grow grass one year and it was infested by dandelions after about 3 weeks. One of our neighbors came over and said dont even bother with the seed. Its impossible out here. Just get sod and call it a day.
