Which is why even when it's 80 out it may not be warm enough to swim Meanwhile once it does get cold enough to freeze its not as if it just unfreezes. So in a Central Park which has a lot of shade via trees, nightly temperatures from 30-50, during the winter, in a city that just experienced a major snow within the last few weeks.
...... like this isn't even that difficult.
I was just in NYC this weekend and in certain parts there's still snow on the ground.
