While the savings just at first glance don't seem that much it accrues over time. This last for the life of an FHA loan so it would vary based on loan amount but the one i am looking at now increased $33 on $170K home. That is almost 12K in payments that they did not have to make before. Plus in order to qualify for a mortgage that $33 can be the difference between you qualifying for a loan and not qualifying for some people.
I do believe the smugness of media pundits did cause a backlash that got Trump elected. Not to say Fox News doesn't do the same when their guys are winning, its off putting in any case and hilarious when their smiles get wiped away. See Karl Rove 2012..

The relationship between the Trump and CNN is playing out EXACTLY like Rob Ford and the Toronto star (which was the paper that broke the crack story). Trump will literally ignore CNN and refuse to speak with anyone who represents them. Another of the many pages that Trump took from Rob Ford's campaign.
They were friends. Trump supported Ford's mayoral campaign. Rob Ford said Trump would be president before he died. Trump lifted rhetoric from Ford word for word. There are simply too many parallels to be ignored.
In Toronto, this has become a very common talking point now. (the link between Ford and Trump)
In anycase...Truth is wrong about legs. You might be able to cull a quote from here or there because we talked about this so much. But overall, Legs was amongst the first to take Trump seriously during the primaries and was never overly dismissive about his chances in the general.
