I think sometimes we beat ourselves up over shit without realizing the other decision would prolly have us doing the same thing.
I beat myself up over a financial decision I made years ago. It's not healthy.

I agree I talked myself out for a reason but I've never crashed and burned that spectacularly. I'm not saying it woulda been a perfect relationship but all I really had to do was land the plane safely instead I crashed and killed everyone on board
I really believe that I would have had a different life had I stayed at this event with Madlib and shafiq from SRCP.
Like..I felt like my dreams of some kinda music career were gonna happen.
then my wife called and said she was going into labor. It turned out to be false...but I felt like that was my 'moment' and I resented my wife for a looooong time. Then I resent myself for resenting basically 'doing the right thing'

you might think that was THE ONE...but maybe the universe got something else waiting for you. I don't think there is a 'one'..I think YOU are the 'one' and the one you really want will match up like a puzzle piece.

But the feeling of missing out is still there so I definitely feel you. I for sho don't want to beat myself up every few minutes thinking about my screw up. It's sucks cause I was all ready for everything to be coming up Milhouse but I guess this is what I get for identifying with Milhouse in the first place lol
I don't believe in the one either, I just know I don't get too many seemingly perfect prospects that are feeling me back but I guess I can only focus on making more chances for myself.
I think a key difference between ppl who are able to forgive themselves and people who can't, is that the first group just naturally has shitty memory and the second group has elephant memory.
