I prefer "blue", a bit lighter.
Anyway, from the site I was talking about (considering dreams can only be explained by the associations of the dreamer, but like i said : "all in good fun, it's like a horoscope"),
here goes black (I'm translating) :
Black symbolises the unkown, the unconscious, danger, mystery, death, mourning and evilness. If your feeling in your dream is however a pleasant feeling, than black can just point to hidden spirituality. If you are dreaming in black and white, this suggests that you need to be somewhat more objective in your decisions.
You could also be a bit stubborn, and therefore need to find some balance between two extremities. Also think about the opinion and feelings of others. Another explanation is that black and white dream is a sign of depression of sadness. You could feel like not enough exciting things are happening in your life.

oops, didn't have anything for white on the site I'm borrowing from, so I went to another site :
White stands for perfection, peace, innocence, beauty, consciousness an new horizons. You could be experiencing that you feel born-again and have obtained a fresh new perspective on life. In the Far East however, white is associated with death and mourning.
