I had been wearing headwraps since cutting my locs three weeks ago because I didn't want to answer questions about why. they children said my headwraps embarrasses them, lol. I stopped wearing them and I'm loving the attention.

It feels weird playing in my hair after having locs for 16-17 years. I can't keep my hands out my hair, lol. however, I'm not a hair person, don't have the patience to spend hours "fixing" hair, plus I'm tenderhead. I'll probably grow my locs back soon. This time I'm going to free form tho...

She thinks our family is starting to fall apart...
In some ways she is right. Christmas is the one time we all get together every year since we are so spread out. Everyone came to Charlotte since we had a newborn and didn't want to travel.
I didn't want to do shit this year but 2 of her kids aren't coming home and my other nephew can't come home.
I haven't told my wife yet. She doesn't want to go anywhere but then again, she never wants to go anywhere. I think she just doesn't like making that decision.
I watched This Is Us last night and dammit, that show is so good. Made me miss family.
Where the hell can you go sled riding in Atlanta? My sister said we are going sled riding.

house, and I STILL can't consistently park my car, right. Watched a neighbor watch me from his window. Feel like I could be entertainment for some of these folks. The other night, I backed the isht in. Was too close to the wall on the driver side. I pulled out TWICE (without any F*s given), to get it right. I was pissed. There've been times where I've been like,"F* it...umma just back this jount in, close the garage, climb over the passenger seat and hop out. Then climb back in the back seat to get my lil man (who sits behind me). Sh*t's embarrassing!!

I've been working 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 5 AM to 2 PM since January. my marriage has been affected because our schedules are so different, we only get a lot of time on my days off when Im not busy doing other things (which isnt really often), this also means I cant stay out late if I wanted to. My job gives us the option of picking new shifts every January, except they just hired some new workforce management person who decided to push it back to March for 2017. 7 to 4 or even 8 to 5 would be perfect
- my health improved majorly this year, but I still have to go to the doctor today for antibiotics so I have a ways to go
- 2016 was one for the books in good and not so good ways, but I learned a lot of lessons

So I am trying to explain to my wife who Young Ma is and am showing her youtube videos of her.
Then a gay cruise banner ad pops up. My wife works in tech so she immediately hits me with "that's targeted advertising, why did that come up on your computer?"
I've got no clue. I did recently make the mistake of hitting up porn sites not in stealth mode but of course not gay porn sites. I did hit up an aggregator site like tube g-lore which mixes in gay porn with regular porn when you search at times but I am pretty sure I didn't accidently click on any of the gay stuff.
Other than that I have no other explanation. No one else uses my laptop.

willothewisp comes from a sculpted wooden hanger my brother made for me. i thought it looked like an alien, but he said "no", it is a will o' the wisp, so I wore it with a string through it as a "necklace" for a couple of years.

the older i get, the less funerals i desire to go to, including family. I didn't want to go to my older cousin's funeral that was on Wednesday because there are some family members i just didn't want to run into. And they validated my reasoning by saying some dumb sht to me that i just laughed off. But inside it pissed me off. But i was in church and i wasnt going to start sht in there. Plus thats not really my style. Id rather avoid you altogether than to spend energy arguing. Maybe because im getting older and value peace more.
My ex texted me last night to ask me to go to a Christmas party with her on the 17th and i texted her back "im not interested in going but have fun." She reacted with a "well damn...okay." I asked her why she responded that way and all i got back was "its cool". Damn right its cool.
I have a white coworker who just cant telling racist jokes. He's been reprimanded more than a few times and even threatened with an eeoc complaint investigation. For instance, one of the few black coworkers of mine was having a conversation with him about this computer he bought for his son and the white coworker replied, "arent your kind used to stealing those". Of course the black coworker went to the head supervisor to complain and all that happened to the white coworker was that he was reprimanded by his immediate supervisor. Its only a matter of time til they cant protect him no more. The rumor is that he was fired from 5 different jobs in the past. Now i know why.
This year was the best year all the way around(especially the last 6 months) i have had in 6 years. Im thankful for that. Looking to continue it into next year. Im also in that best shape ive been in in 10 years do to cutting down to one meal and day and juicing. That will definitely continue into next year. Next year the shirt comes off on the beach.

I could see them smiling before they came up to me. I tapped my sister on the sholder so that she could see the impending sheninanigans. Right on cue they said their bs. Hoping i dont lose anymore close relatives soon for those reasons.
