Mon Dec-05-16 07:11 AM by willothewisp

Me? Psychologists/psychiatrists :

Freud (the unconscious)
Otto F. Kernberg (object relations theory)
Pierre Janet (dissociation)
Heinz Kohut (self psychology)

in that order.

Honorable mentions, lol, philosophers :

especially Spinoza and Levinas, but perhaps Nietzsche, Hegel, Schopenhauer etc too

How about you?

what do you mean by this? have you known her? but were too little to really get to know her? :

>she died before I had a chance to remember her...

what would you like for her to do for you? or is that a "wrong" question?

what would you like to talk about with her?

i have only pictures to remember her. what Iwhat I have her show...teach me? I'm not sure. From what I hear grandmother's have a significant role in a child's life.

by way of example...
I'm a grandmother, and I'm still trying to figure out what i should be doing with the children. I think had I had mines, I'd have a better understanding.

my mother raised my son so I don't have a lot of hardcore experience lol

these children love me tho
like, how when I get home they run to me

one time while out all day with their parents
they ran in the house and up to my room talking about, "we hungry"
said, mom and day ain't feed them
we all marched downstairs so I could raise hell with mom and dad
come to find out, them kids lied. They declined what was offered
so dad told them they can eat when they get home
They be setting me up...

I got'em open tho.

But I would've LOVED to have met up with Rick James at a small dive bar. If his book was ANY indication of what being a musician in the 80's was like? Whoah boy...

I'd also like to meet:

James Brown
Spike Lee
President Obama
Hank Shocklee

and a few others. Mostly musicians, though.

If you haven't already done so, read "Confessions of a Super Freak" by Rick James.

Then Bill Clinton and Obama. Only work if Bill is in his Prime and Obama feels free to talk shit.

Teddy Roosevelt, FDR and Abe Lincoln.

Whoopi Goldberg seems like she would be the most fun person to kick it with right now and hear stories.

The show wasn't that funny but the roast they did was hilarious.
