I like this better than his other stuff. Last album had a few dope joints tho. Never was a fan of him as a rapper tho. Sounded like he was just doing Wayne impressions.

The more Childish Gambino strays from trying to be a rapper, the better he is. I think a lot of the criticism before was heavy-handed and unfair because some people thought it was just some vanity project.

Because the Internet was really what changed that perspective IMHO.

I remember when this vid was posted and I felt like the odd man out since everybody thought it was dope.
