New: Maison Martin Margiela - Jazz Club Replica Dior - Sauvage
Old: Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille (I have the beard oil in this fragrance also) Gucci - Guilty Theirry Mugler - AMen Pure Havane (love this shit. I would have never bought this. Lady at Macy's grabbed me and said 'try this) Prada - Amber pour homme - bottle old as shit. can't seem to finish it off. Valentino - ??? Wife bought me this like 2 or 3 Christmases ago. I HATE IT. Can't bring myself to throwing it away yet. LOL.
I never knew anything about Tom Ford fragrances until I visited the TF store in Vegas. They had like 10 scents from the private collection. I had just won some money from the slots and treated myself.
I've had this bottle for about 6 years now. I don't wear it everything. Its an Eau De Parfum, so I can spray once and it stays with me. The thing I like about Tobacco Vanille is that the scent changes after hours of wearing it. At first it smells like a cigar, then it has hints of cocoa and finally the vanilla scent.
The shit smells like money. When I wear it I always get compliments.
I bought the beard oil also. Honestly, when I use the beard oil there's no need to use the cologne

but ignoring price, concentration matters perfumes > colognes
essential oils: top notes vs mid vs low
scarcity: the more expensive, the less likely you are to smell the same thing on the man standing next to you
From a pure smell stand point, I target a unique, or at least a interesting variation on a particular scent, subtle scent that lingers for hours. a scent that can only be smelled when entering my personal space

Once I got put onto the splits scene (splitting larger bottles with others, at a discounted price, basically...check out reddit.com/r/fragsplits) I've now been able to indulge some of the higher end stuff I wouldn't otherwise be able to.
recent additions to the rotation:
Creed Aventus batch 16A01 Fahrenheit Absolute (insanely great discontinued fragrance) Tom Ford Vert de Bois Tom Ford Ombre Leather 16 Paco Rabanne Pour Homme 2nd Edition (1990s version)
Old standbys I've worn for years:
Chanel Platinum Egoiste Tom Ford Oud Wood Issey Miyake Bleue Zihr Ikon (super cheap but quality fragrance, a good cold weather scent)
I already have the Creed, but I haven't found out what the other one is.
In other news, I copped a few cheap samples from beautyspin.com, and the 15-fragrance sampler from Sephora. I've been wearing Prada Infusion, Burberry Touch, and Polo Red/Blue/Black for the past few years.
