I just got the last thing I needed to hear. My other mom aka step-mom has cancer. They found a cancerous lump in her breast and they found cancer in her lymph nodes. My brother has no idea. He probably won't find out until tomorrow when he calls home. My hubby who worked with a bunch of surgeons and wanted to be a doctor himself, told me that from the sound of things this is treatable and that she will live a long life. But it may be a rough couple of years. So that does give me hope and I'm not going into a deep depression. But I'm trying to get all my anger, rage and frustration out here because I gotta keep it quiet from the family. And I gotta be strong for my dad, my other mom and especially my brother because I know him and no matter if it's stage 1, 2 or 3...it's still going to hit him hard as fuck.

Thanks. This is truly the most fucked up day. My other mom isn't perfect. And we haven't always had the greatest relationship. But we are good. I love that woman and the last thing I would ever want for her is this.
So yeah....this is really fuckin with me. I've probably said every curse word I can say in my head...the munchkin is in the room with me. And she's already seen her mommy cry and I can't tell her what's going on other than mommy and daddy got bad news.

In the last year I've lost my mom and my aunt to Cancer, my homeboy died of a heart attack, another just had a stroke, Prince died, Phife died, and the Panthers lost the Super Bowl...... This year can go fuck itself......
