shooting at a moving car when the car is a legit threat(not what happened here) doesn't ensure your safety at all. the driver can get shot and have no control of the vehicle and still hit you.
Anyone shooting at a vehicle threatening to hit them just wants to kill/harm the driver...probably on some you tryna hit me/disrespectful tip.

he rammed their car so they gotta show him on some jailhouse/gang respect shit just like the gang they are.
Knew a cop who told me a story about how he had to cover a lieutenant who beat this dude to the point where they had to take him to a hospital because he embarrassed him in front of his subordinates.

how do you mistake someone shooting at you.
but its either 1 or 2 things... 1) they knew cameras was rolling and was getting their story together 2)they heard other officers shooting and assumed it was the victim. This don't explain the officer who fired first tho.

7. "smh....all them shots were fired by officers???" In response to Reply # 0
dudes were taking 10 seconds to jump over a door, they couldn't really be fearing for their lives going over like that smh.
video is disgusting...certainly appears like those in charge are equally disturbed...but i know those agencies are in transition so who knows how this turns out.
The officers being stripped of their powers is a huge first step.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

i watch too much damn tv
but i wanted to see what happened when they reported to the sergeant, turned over their weapons, whatever
anyways
crazy sad
wild to see the 2 POVs
bodycams are some shit
murder is some SHIT
i thought i noticed the second cop expressing some emerging reluctance to explicitly back up the first cop's brief story about what happened and why he fired (ie that 1st cop was reacting to the car "almost hitting" 2nd cop)
every moment in which the victim was visible was stomach turning

They won't even get arrested. I doubt they stand trial and if they do get arrested for some odd reason it will be for show.
This is a tragedy but none of the cops that kill innocent black people go to jail. The dude even celebrated that he'd get 30 days of desk work. You'd think the cops won the Super Bowl or something with how they were celebrating.

and his day in court. Yes, trying to outrun the police is bad, but it shouldn't end in gunfire and death. Not proper procedure for the crime committed. A car chase so bring out the guns? Whenever the perpetrator is Black the answer is always to shoot no matter what the crime? And people thought Rodney King's video was horrific in the early 90's. And now death on camera and cops are still getting off. Keep the focus off 'victim blaming' (he was on drugs, gangbanger, thief) and focus of Violation of rights then maybe the cops are held accountable.
Plus, what the fuck with them shooting so recklessly in a residential neighborhood? They could've shot each other in the face as well as random folks in their homes.
