The first ep was entertaining as hell, but I was transfixed by the dabbing. That shit looked too complicated to be enjoyable.

I have smoked weed through all manner of contraptions and reached the highest of highs. What could dabbing do that couldn't be achieved by smoking a bong, vaping or doing edibles?

so edibles could be considered similar as far as potency but not effect

any of those other things, the "flower" (plant matter) is the transport for what actually gets you stoned (The oil)

so the same way "hash" is a low tech way to "extract" the good part (the oil) there are now essentially industrial/chemical processes to extract the oil from the plant matter


now once you have just the oil, youve eliminated all kinds of bad things (carbon)



the problem is as you can imagine if youve ever cleaned your pipe/bong its hard to deal with being so sticky.

so dabbing is simply a way to easily/efficiently to smoke the oil


you heat up the platform, it can be different shapes in sizes, it just needs to accomplish being able to be heated and hold onto the oil once it starts to combust(this is starting to get into the meth/crack like style of smoking because they behave similarly)


anyways i dont even know if i answered your question, but let me know if i missed anything!

first there's the process... it looks too close to doing crack or heroin for my comfort. If I need a blowtorch to get high, I don't need to be high.

And secondly, I just don't feel the need to be stupid high. I don't even particularly like smoking blunts and shit, I like to be functionally high. So dabbing is (i assume), overkill in that regard.

so its actually much easier to regulate the "how high do i want to get" effect


then to top it off, if you can eliminate burning all that plant matter your lungs will be very happy.

you also dont have to get "stupid high" every time. you can vape sativas/sativa-dominants and get a feel for the dosing. but if you want to go big, nothing gets you more lifted. they are coming out with better hashes and stuff now but a big ass dab will get you real stony even if you are a very experienced smoker.

... and Tyler basically fucked up the whole vibe of the show. Once he was gone, that last 2-3 minutes of back and forth between them cats is basically what I was hoping for in the first few minutes of the show. It would have been great to watch 4 cats stoned out of their minds dissecting and analyzing Ancient Aliens without Tyler's constant barrage of 8 year old antics.
