I've been studying motive/motifs in music recently. It's blowing my mind seeing how almost all good melodies are written based on 2 - 4 short melodic or rhythmic fragments repeated, flipped or recombined again and again.

I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old
my wife comes from money and she is now making more on top of that
I've progressed so far in my career in the last 3 years that I have lost a lot of my old self

just thinking with the plans me and my wife have...and if they come into fruition our kids will be privledged

Misfits, Bitter Old People, economic losers who seem left behind by the modern economy, the undereducated, and cultural losers who can't seem to except the world is changing.

It's hard to imagine a lot of regular people who are doing well watching this shit show on TV and saying, I want to be down with that.

Just because we don't know anyone that's down with the trump GOP shit show doesn't mean they can't win
fly over country is highly motivated and pissed off. Whether their reasons are valid or not (racism and xenophobia is a loser's mentality and a completely worthless state of mind, but losing your factory job because of NAFTA is very real)
Motivated people vote. My only hope is that it cuts both ways. I'd rather not vote for hillary but when the alternative is Drumpf then I gotta do what I gotta do.

and Hillary isnt well liked by a ton of white folk too.

the only saving grace is Trump being a clown but in this climate a clown could still be a serious challenger.

That's what I don't get
for a black man to win the popular vote twice means plenty of white people voted for him
I get fatigue or Obama not delivering what he promised (newsflash: he's a politician) but the anger and hate is some other shit
I rate Dubya as one of the worst presidents in American history but I wasn't calling for his execution like some of these clowns are doing with Obama.

whats funny is hearing white people say they voted for Obama but now they regret it. Part of me thinks its all lies cause white people are serious about not telling you who they voted for...lol.

whats scary is the amount of GOP voters vs Dem voters in the primary.

Even when an art form is known to add the "influence" of intoxication to the performance angle, there is usually supposed to be the 10,000 hours thing underneath the intoxication to keep things somewhat (if not barely) "legit."


But we know "slackers" have been in the mix for a while (and many are accusing most of today's computer program music producers as being big on slacking - as compared to the music producers of the past).


but, I am realizing "slacking" can be brought into other ways of making legit music that finally escapes that "10,000 hours" thing.

the overnight success story is rare tho...

gotta put in the work even if you sample or cut and paste.
