Went to see Weiner last night (pause), the documentary following ex-NY mayor candidate Anthony Weiner and the scandal(s) that ensued on his campaign trail in 2013

One of the most entertaining political documentaries I've ever seen, Weiner is a hot mess, it'll make you cringe and you'll root for / fall in love with his ride or die wife Huma (who serves as vice chairwoman for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign):

Go see this, if not for a little stay by your man-inspo from mrs Weiner herself. I had «When A Woman's Fed Up» playing in the back of my head the last 30 mins of this flick, smh

Claire Underwood in real life.
All of her moves felt calculated, and emotionally disingenuous.
Weiner at least is seemingly transparent.
But that's just my "TicToc".

I too believed she was a victim, only because of that press conference in the campaign HQ, where she looks like a hostage standing next to him. Watching the documentary, you see she turned that on.
Through the entire first half of the documentary, leading up to that, she wears multiple versions of a similarly styled Tory Birch dress, then suddenly when news resurfaced about his other past online/phone bones, she'd only wear all-black grandmother alphits--like the one seen in the press conference, during press outings.
Later when they're shooting campaign commercials, she's on set with full make-up wearing another beautifully styled dress, but news broke about Hilly2016 saying me or him, so she's sitting there sloppily eating a slice of pizza, barking at the camera crew that she wasn't even close to being camera ready, feigning confusion about them wanting to use her for a scene.
She's in her 30s, Weiner is in his 50s, she exacting her plan.
Humma exudes a conniving spirit, in the movie.

more than likely it ess an arranged marraige/business transaction.

She definitely made a calculating decision thinking she was joining a power couple, but I think it's safe to say she didn't know what kind of freak she was getting.

There are lot of dudes who would have made a good choice for her power couple ambition, she picked the wrong one.
