"things you suck at?"

I suck at stretching. basically never do much of it.
paying for it now. gotta learn some yoga moves or something. can't touch my toes.

I work in technology, but also suck at being technical. I can read well enough to get by, but there are folks at work that run circles around me. oddly enough, I'm good at my job and have been pretty decent since starting in software. my skill is working with people.

I'm definitely overly reactive and a problem solver vs. proactively thinking of potential problems and taking steps to prevent them from ever occurring.

are you talking about using both hands at the same time on a keyboard or piano? Or specifically reading the sheet music? You don't really read both at once, pretty sure. I play piano at a very low level (my opus currently is the theme from Fringe) and you learn the different parts separately. Then it's muscle memory and feel, and you pretty much just read the sheet to keep your place, rather than read note -> play note.

separately, the feel is still quiet different when I combine my two hands. I find that the muscle memory aspect of it only works if I practice both hands together.

I think a big part of it is that I was an adult learner, so the window probably closed on me being able to sight-read well, unless I practiced an hour every single day, which won't happen.

what helped me was a couple dudes at the office that played ball. they convinced me to hit the office gym. I'm all in now.

it helps if you have any type of competitive drive. I won't say I'm competing with them since they're you're younger and way stronger. but I'm in there and I've seen improvements. motivation.

i think i'm way to comfortable with myself at this point in my career and there's so many young folks in my industry. they have that i care look 24/7. it's not so much kiss ass but more like the willingness to concede and fall in line. i constantly just say whatever the fuck i feel, confident that i'm right. it gets the job done, but i know i make some folk feel like shit some time.

I'm like that too as far as voicing my opinion. My boss has mentioned that I always have good input when I put stuff out there.

I struggled with it in middle/high school and took my last math class in 10th grade. I was done after that. Sometimes it makes me feel dumb, but fuck math.
