"What fried foods have you been able to give up? "

I need to give uo all greasy fried food, but it's hard to break up with the Fried Bird and French Fries. Still, I'm about to embark on the journey because I want to live longer enough to see my future grandkids.

so all that fried bird went with the do-do. Still eat french fries from time to time but deep frying was never a staple for me. I stopped eating a lot of fastfood as well. Good luck, homie.

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Though I find when I'm working out a lot, I have no desire to eat unhealthy. It's when I get lazy that I want junk food and alcohol.

Gotta get the regimen going. I find that for me it goes in waves and the longer you stick with it the longer you can sustain it as you go. Then you master it.

no damn way I ever stop eating fried chicken.

I have a deep fryer at home and it's way less greasy than frying in a pan even though it takes more grease to use it.

but ultimately, if you simply stop consuming fast food you've won half the battle.
Most people don't like frying food anyways because it's so messy and time consuming....and so fast food is the biggest contributor to their fried food intake.

worry about fried food later.

I will never stop eating fried chicken or fish. Fat itself is totally necessary, unless you're going way overboard with it.

pure maple syrup.

I'm gonna try unsweetened almond milk, half and half or heavy cream as the milk base.

I drink coffee every day but i'm not a coffee lover at all.

I cut it down to 2tsp + creamer, then 1/3 tsp of stevia + creamer...and about to get rid of the creamer as soon as i finish this industrial sized costco bottle lol

I know someone will have an OKP recipe that doesn't have salt but I doubt it's really as good as they claim.

thyme, rosemary, garlic, pepper good flavor (of course a wee bit of salt helps)

hell lemon juice is a good substitute if you need that salty taste

but yea, eating strictly baked chicken for anything less than dietary or health reasons is tough.

But hell, what do I know?

crust it with something if it's boneless/skinless.

You don't need a shitload of salt, but it needs to be well-seasoned with other spices/herbs. Or marinated.

I have fried chicken maybe 3-4 times a year, French fries fried in oil at home, never. At a restaurant 3-4 times a year. I don't eat shell fish or catfish so no worries about fried fish.

What else you frying?

Here is the thing, everything in moderation. there is no need for you to give it up, there is also no need for you to eat fried foods daily or weekly.

If you have long term health goals moderation (unless your doc says no more at all ever) is key. I can't imagine any doc saying never ever ever again.
