especially the second half. i've heard 4 tracks from kaytranada's 99.9 and they all sound good. he's so young and talented. great group of young musically inclined artists getting their shine now.

Sonically?...It's a cute track, "getting ready & checkin yourself out in front of the mirror/gassin yourself up before the turn up" playlist music. I prefer the beat from 3:09 on tho...reminds me of the drums on "Umi Says."

Sooooooo much good hip hop coming out by these young cats...they are really pushing the art forward with top notch, creative, high quality, refreshing, new twist, but keeping the soul of the genre.... At my age, I can't really relate to some of the themes and subject matter...but I can feel it...and reminisce.... Yeah, this must be how the O.G.'s felt in the 90's when I was always wondering why they weren't as hype about the same music I was hyped about, but they would say they dug it, but it wasn't for them... I get it get it....

....I'm sure it'll grow on me. Looking forward to the album tho... Read an interview with him (kaytra) recently about coming out and living with his family...seems like a good dude. Really want him to win.
