"I need to know what genre of music is this sample from?"


  

          

I'm just getting hip to Knxwledge, but this Kaveman_ cut is nice. I want to listen to that genre of music from that sample on this cut:

I can't tell you what type of sax, but definitely a sax.

Some of my favorite sax players:

Coltrane
Pharoah Sanders
Eric Dolphy
Cannonball Adderly
Ronnie Laws
Grover Washington Jr.
Fela
Bennie Maupin

A grip more, but that's what comes to mind right now.

I can't place the player, though. Obviously not Coltrane or Shorter.

My steppops has a tremendous Jazz library on vinyl and I grew up listening to nothing but Jazz. I know I've heard the album that was from, just can't place it right now.
