the closest real Detroit coney island spot is in Vegas inside The D hotel on Freemont St. Owned by the same family that owns/runs American Coney Island in downtown Detroit.

Sometimes with stuff like that, its impossible to get them the same with different kitchen equipment, and im sure the stuff at American is old as hell lol.
Sort of like the old ass pizza pans at Buddy's. If something happened to those pans they would be ruined.

when I lived in Philly my cousin called me up and screamed "WTF is a Ishakabbibles?"
a coworker asked her to bring back a cheesesteak from there and she thought it was a set up to make her look stupid. She didn't want to ask anyone in Philly if it existed
