I always assumed MJ's baseball hiatus was part of an agreement with David Stern. Jordan may have even been betting on the NBA like Pete Rose. I think the NBA learned about MJ's gambling problem and felt they had to do something, but didn't want to ban him from the league because he was so good for the NBA. So essentially they agreed that MJ would step away for a year or two until the gambling stuff died down, and then he returned.

I've always assumed his dad was killed over something related to his own gambling.

"Sus" means suspicious. If I call someone sus, he's deceitful but I'm not certain to what extent. A sus individual could be hiding his sexual intentions, murderous ways, or even the amount of money in his wallet when we're all paying the check at a restaurant.

Urban Dictionary misses the mark entirely. One is no longer sus once we know what crime he's committed; at that point, the person is "violating".

I'd say their "relationship" was closer to Brian Wilson/Dr. Eugene Landy relationship. Cliff notes: Landy started off as Brian Wilson's psychiatrist and he ended up becoming his manager/taking over his life. Wilson had severe psychological issues and Landy ended up controlling him through drugs and total control of his life, and cut him off from the rest of his family.

I think Solar did the same thing with Guru. Guru was a recovering addict, and Solar took total control of his life and cut him off from his family. Solar replaced Guru's addiction to drugs with an addiction to Solar. I don't think he was fucking him.
