It's def New York centric and the tone is different in the begining than at the doc's end, but I enjoyed it for the most part

They also began to explore an important question about race, and class and fashion traditions at the end

also if you haven't seen it, watch Rubble Kings, it's also on Netflix. another doc about NYs gangs in the 70s

I think it's still on Netflix but if you like those 80's corrupt cops and crack docs, it's up your alley.
