Of course my wife has seen me bawl through deaths, miscarriages, kid going to the emergency room...etc., but in the midst of couples discussion, or relationship drama... no. I do however get verklempt, and maybe shed the Denzel in Glory tear...
Back in college I didn't have a handle on that shit and used to cry every time my girlfriend and I had an argument. In retrospect I think she began to see me as weak. Over the course of my next few relationships before I got married, I worked on developing a Vulcan like control over my emotions.

As far as movies goes, she knows I get teary eyed and she never misses an opportunity to pretend she's concerned. It'll be a sad/dramatic/powerful part in a movie and my eyes will get a little misty because of the moment.

The first time was last spring. We were on a trip to New Orleans. The city reminds me of my grandfather who died 13 years ago... I had a dream about him and I woke up crying. She was laying next to me.
The second time was over the summer... a friend of mine killed himself.
