"Poll question: Should Blk Protest Movements Have A Trained & Armed Part Of Its Movement..."
I sometimes feel like our protests aren't taken as serious as they should by the establishment because there's no threat of anarchy to these protest movements...and when we do lash out violently, our actions are misdirected and unorganized
In my estimation, it would be ideal if we could train some of these gangs to act as military arm to our social protest movements.
Peaceful protests seem to have exhausted their effectiveness in this very hostile and violent 21st century

These dudes have no honor and don't stand for shit. They can't even organize amongst themselves (what black gang is running their community?). That would be an FBI wet dream: armed criminal gang members working side-by-side with black activists. Two birds with one stone.

applies to the older GBs - The Latin Kings for example are very organized and are involved things beyond criminal activity
The crips (Community Revolution In Progress) is an outgrowth of the Blk Panthers
A lot of these gang members are really smart people and are far more socially/politically aware than most ppl think...
But in regards to these young gang members its true what you stated

that the 60s pre black panthers had armed members of its movement. Dr King had armed guards and the south had Black armed Decans who fought off many terrorist.

Showing up black and armed to a peaceful protest isn't a good idea unless there's an end game as far as what will transpire once things inevitably turn to violence.

Movements gain credibility through reputation tied to their leaders. Always have. OWS and #BLACKLIVESMATTER have been easy to dismiss because of their lack of focus and being dismissed is worse than being ignored.
